New Kansas City facility opens in response to increased volume

Weston, FL — July 25, 2006 — DHL Global Mail today announced the expansion of its Mail Terminal network due to increased volume and customer demand. The new Kansas City Mail Terminal in Shawnee, Kansas is expected to handle more than 40,000 parcels daily, with capacity to double its volume in the future.

The new DHL Global Mail facility offers reliable, full-service domestic processing for mail and parcels, including SMARTMAIL PARCEL residential package delivery service for under 1 lb. shipments. The new facility has approximately 17,000 square feet and is located about 25 miles from Kansas City International Airport.
