Frank Bettgenhaeuser

Frank Bettgenhaeuser has been head of Operations for DHL Global Mail – Americas since 2006. For 32 years, Frank has been a valued team member at Deutsche Post DHL, parent company of DHL Global Mail. He joined Deutsche Post Global Mail—a forerunner of DHL Global Mail—as Director of Global Operations and Quality Management in 2001 at its worldwide headquarters in Bonn, Germany. For part of this time, he headed the International Mail Center at Frankfurt Airport.

Frank previously served as Manager of Post Offices and Training Supervisor for Deutsche Post DHL after joining the company in 1977. Among his major accomplishments, Frank played a key role in rebuilding the postal infrastructure in Germany after reunification in 1990, overseeing the opening of 83 advanced mail processing centers. He was head of Domestic Mail Operations – Germany for Deutsche Post DHL before joining Deutsche Post Global Mail.

In January 2009, Frank was named Chairman of the Postal Committee of the Express Association of America, an organization founded by DHL Global Mail and other major shipping and mailing providers. Its mission is to advocate for the shipping industry at the legislative level.

Frank has studied economics and participated in programs at Columbia Business School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
